Saint Francis Cougars Claw Way up to NO 7 in NAIA Top 25

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – On the eve of the biggest game of the season, the University of Saint Francis men’s basketball team rose one slot in the eighth NAIA Men’s Division II Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 released late Monday afternoon.
USF, now 21-5, moved up to No. 7 in the Division II Top 25 after spending last week at No. 8. The Cougars, winners of 15 of their last 17 games, collide with No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan University on Tues., Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. at Hutzell Athletic Center. It will be ‘Blue Out’ night. Cougar fans wearing blue will be admitted for $4.
Since losing at IWU 104-81, USF has won six of its last seven games.
This is the fourth straight week USF has been ranked in the Top 10 despite starting sometimes as many as three freshmen. USF is coming off a 96-81 win at Goshen on Saturday while the Wildcats have won three straight and 17 of its last 18 games including a 79-61 win over Spring Arbor on Saturday
