The list of accolades for the senior backcourt of Heather Seyfred and Mandy Yoder continues as both earned a spot on the All-MCC team.
Seyfred, who led the Mid-Central College Conference in scoring at 17.27 ppg, was named to the first team. The 5-5 shooter from Galien, Mich. set a Lady Pilots record this year with 105 three-pointers made, placing her second in the nation and breaking the BC record of 103 set by Abby Noll in 2007.
Yoder, named to the second team, was once again the do-it-all point guard that led the MCC in assists for the second straight year with 5.6 per game. She also averaged nearly 14 ppg, 5.4 rpg and 3.1 steals per game. Mandy's 170 assists currently find her third in the nation overall.
The post season honors just add to an already impressive list of accomplishments that the amazing backcourt has achieved since transferring to Bethel together following their freshmen year at Indiana State (Seyfred) and Ferris State (Yoder). Both players have also cracked the top 10 scorers in Lady Pilots history this year - Seyfred - 7th with 1,559 points and Yoder - 8th with 1,461 points.
The Lady Pilots (17-14 overall and 8-8 in the MCC) lost in the first round of the MCC Tournament to Huntington University and now plan to make a return trip to the NCCAA national tournament in Winona Lake, Ind
